CIPHR docs

Brand

CIPHR: your face is yours to unlock. The name is the mechanic. The planned visor is sealed by a Phala dstack CVM and can be opened by the current holder after signed authorization.

Status

The mark

A key unlocks: the mark and the motion both come from that one idea. Graphite is the machine and the helmet shell. Lime is the coin and the key that opens your own visor. The visor itself reads as scrambled noise, grey, mint and lime, until the current holder authorizes the enrolled CVM to open it. The collectible is exact and a little cold, a private object with a small warm tell (the keyhole) rather than a toy.

The tile above is drawn by docs/js/docs-tile.js, the platform's shared preview renderer. The collection's own contracts/src/CiphrCollection.sol draws its public artwork differently today, a simple placeholder circle rather than the helmet and visor; matching public art is planned, not built yet.

Colour tokens

Black is the machine. Graphite is the head. Lime is your coin and your key. Ink is text. Dark theme, set in tokens.css.

TokenMeaning
--groundThe page background. Near black, the machine's colour.
--inkText. A cool near-white so it reads clean against the dark ground.
--ink-softMuted text and captions, the graphite tone.
--accentThe coin and the key. The one lime that carries text and fill.
--tintA dark lime-green ground for callouts and code blocks.
--glowGlow and highlight only, such as the visor's resolved pattern. Never used for text.
--cardThe panel surface, one step lighter than the ground, bordered in --line (#24302B).

Piece artwork palette

The docs preview tile still draws from the platform's shared palette (lime, white and shade fills, no outlines but the eyes), and that palette is described in the-piece.html and rarity.html. CIPHR's own hero object uses a different, narrower set: matte graphite for the helmet, lime edge pixels, and a visor that flickers between grey, mint and lime noise before resolving to a clean lime pattern. The collection's own on-chain artwork does not draw any of this yet; see the limit above.

Type

Display headings set in Geologica. Body copy in Public Sans. Mono only where the content is machine data: hashes, addresses, amounts and code, never for ordinary prose.

Do and do not

Do

  • Let the object (the helmet, the visor, the piece) carry the page. Chrome stays quiet.
  • Write plain words a stranger can read in seconds.
  • Design phone first. 390 and 360 are the real canvas.
  • Use mono only for real data.

Do not

  • Add a colour outside the tokens or the piece palette above, a gradient on text, or a glassmorphism blur.
  • Use beige, brown, or a random colour tangent.
  • Stack a card inside a card, or use a side-stripe border for emphasis.
  • Use developer jargon in a label a buyer will read.
